i started with four images:
foo.png, bar.png, foo@2x.png, bar@2x.png.
Dimensions: 44x44 and 88x88 for the @2x images.
Task: generate two different sprites. one containing the 44x44 images and one for the 88x88 ones.
Problem: i verified that each image had the correct pixel size (could be that in the process of creating the images i temporarily had wrong image sizes...) but when i tried to place the images in sprites the Tool always gave me the wrong image for one of the four resouces. It might a some sort of caching bug or a problem with the filenames?
I imported my two 88x88 images and Sprite Master Web gave me one 88x88 and one 44x44. wtf?

i ended up constructing the second sprite in a graphics tool... :(

hi,

it seems that when using _hover images the css contains some unnecessary markup. the base styles are also assigned to the _hover images.

is this a bug or a feature? :)

Hi,

i just had my first experiences with Sprite Master Web and i think the generated css output could be much more useful if
a) the path to the sprite image needs to be configurable. if you keep your css and image files in separate folders the generated sprite image name need manual tweeking every time you update your files
b) custom code that is wrapped around the generated css. with all those shiny retina displays starting to spread.... this would be very helpful if we could wrap our own media queries around the css automatically.

what do others think about this?

I'm pretty new to Sprite Master, although here's a feature I'd love to have. I've exported a repeating image that I have from Photoshop. It's on its way to Corona for an iPad game. Although for Corona to work with it, all the sprites have to be the same size. Well when I auto-generate them in Photoshop sometimes there is a 1 or 2 pixel difference in the image width / height. Sprite Master should have an option that once checked looks at all the images, finding the largest one and synchronize all the sprites across the board.

I'd think this would be a major enhancement.

Thanks,
Paul
